New Computer Class

Hello,

Today I started a new computer class at Gettysburg High School through Millersville University. I hoped to be able to continue working on my Webpage and Blog, but the school had the blog blocked and did not have Nvu downloaded on the computer. So I started working on some Power Points that I hope to be able to link to my Web Page and Blog when I have everything done.

Friday's EDW 647 Class

On Friday I was able to Create a Webpage although I'm not totally satisfied with the look of it. I think a template of some sort would have made it appear better looking.

I liked making links from my homepage to my overviews and to my blogs. I also learned alot while working with the other people who were trying to create a webpage.

I hope that I will be able to refer to this WebPage during an Open House and that parents and students refer to it when necessary.

Favorite Baseball Team

My Favorite Baseball team is the Colorado Rockies. When the Rockies and Marlins teams were accepted in MLB in 1993 I thought it would be great to follow a team from their inaugural season. I thought the Rockies had the better expansion draft and I liked that the Rockies play in a ball park that is hitter friendly. My favorite player was Dante Bichette. The Rockies start a 4 game series against the Dodgers tonight in Colorado. Go Rockies!

I am currently taking Internet for Educators at Millersville University. I've learned some things regarding websites and creating a blog and creating a webpage in html. I think there must be easier ways to create a webpage than using html. Does anyone know of a different way of creating a webpage than html?

Math Class

I will be teaching 3 Remedial Math classes this Fall. I will be using an Accelerated Math program that allows students to work at their own pace. If anyone has an suggestions or questions about the Accelerated Math program and how it is used in their class, please comment.
